COBRA floor pads are developed and produced by Clean Part AB to provide a high-performance, chemical-free solution for professional floor maintenance. The series was designed as a more cost-efficient alternative to diamond pads while delivering comparable cleaning and renovation results. Like diamond systems, COBRA pads require no chemicals or detergents—only mechanical abrasion—to achieve a clean, uniform surface.
For maximum operational flexibility, the pads can be used both dry and with water, depending on machine type, floor material and the required level of cleaning. This makes COBRA a practical and versatile choice for contractors, service workshops and facility managers who need reliable performance across a wide range of hard-floor applications.
COBRA floor pads are abrasive nonwoven pads designed for chemical-free cleaning, renovation and matte polishing of hard floors. Developed and manufactured by Clean Part AB, the pads can be used wet or dry and are available in four grit levels (120–1000) to support everything from heavy surface restoration to daily maintenance. Their open abrasive structure prevents clogging, ensures consistent performance and extends pad life, making COBRA a cost-efficient and environmentally responsible choice for professional floor-care operations.

Open nonwoven structure
Prevents clogging, ensures even abrasion and extends pad life during both daily maintenance and renovation work.
Four-step system (120–1000 grit)
Covers the full workflow—from heavy surface restoration to fine refinement and daily cleaning.
Wet and dry compatibility
Performs effectively across a wide range of machine types, floor materials and maintenance requirements.
Customisable for OEM and contractor needs
Available in customised diameters, shapes, hole patterns and backing thicknesses.
Cobra 120 grit is a highly aggressive abrasive pad designed for heavy floor renovation. It is intended for severely worn hard floors where the surface layer must be fully removed or mechanically levelled. The pad removes coatings, polish build-up and surface defects quickly, making it an effective choice for large-area restoration.
Thanks to its high cutting capacity, the operator typically requires fewer passes compared to conventional pads, which reduces working time without compromising surface preparation quality. As with any renovation process, proper pre-cleaning and surface assessment remain essential to achieving an optimal end result.
Cobra 320 grit is a medium-aggressive abrasive pad and an excellent first step in the renovation process when the floor is worn but does not require heavy restoration. It removes surface coatings and polish in a controlled manner, making it suitable for refurbishment tasks where precise material removal is important.
The balanced combination of abrasive minerals and nonwoven structure ensures predictable cutting action. This allows the operator to regulate how much polish or surface material is removed, preventing both excessive abrasion and insufficient performance. The result is a stable and well-controlled renovation step that prepares the floor for finer refinement stages.
Cobra 800 grit is the second to last step in the COBRA system and is used to further refine the surface before the final finishing stage. It removes light micro-scratches, evens out the surface and prepares the floor for the 1000 grit pad.
Cobra 800 grit is also an effective corrective step when a floor has been maintained with 1000 grit over an extended period. Daily traffic introduces sand, dust and abrasive particles that gradually reduce the surface quality. In these cases, a short maintenance cycle with 800 grit restores the surface texture before returning to regular 1000 grit cleaning.
Cobra 1000 grit is the final and finest step in the COBRA series. It delivers the smoothest surface finish and is the recommended pad for daily or frequent maintenance of matte hard floors. The pad refines the surface without increasing gloss levels, making it ideal for environments where a natural, non-reflective appearance is required.
For routine maintenance, the pad is typically used with water only. When deeper cleaning is necessary—such as breaking surface tension or removing embedded soil—a mild cleaning agent may be applied without affecting pad performance.
If the floor has accumulated heavy soiling or the matte finish becomes difficult to maintain, stepping back temporarily to 800 grit will restore the surface texture. After this corrective step, returning to 1000 grit re-establishes the original uniform matte appearance.

With more than 40 years of experience in floor-care technology and in-house abrasive pad production, Clean Part integrates advanced manufacturing with modern environmental engineering. COBRA pads fit most pad holders and machines on the market and deliver a uniform matte finish, efficient cleaning and minimal environmental impact—making them a smart and future-ready choice for professional floor maintenance.
1. What are COBRA floor pads used for?
COBRA floor pads are used for chemical-free cleaning, renovation and matte polishing of hard floors in industrial, commercial and public environments.
2. What makes COBRA different from traditional floor pads?
COBRA pads use an open abrasive nonwoven structure that prevents clogging, extends pad life and delivers consistent abrasion without requiring chemicals or detergents.
3. Can COBRA pads replace diamond pads?
Yes. COBRA pads are engineered as a cost-efficient alternative to diamond pads, offering similar cleaning and renovation performance while maintaining a matte finish.
4. In which grit levels are COBRA pads available?
The pads are available in four grit levels—120, 320, 800 and 1000—covering the full workflow from heavy renovation to daily maintenance.
5. Can COBRA pads be used with water?
Yes. COBRA pads can be used both wet and dry. Water is recommended for most applications, especially renovation and deep cleaning.
6. Are COBRA pads suitable for outdoor surfaces like decking?
Yes. COBRA pads can clean wooden decking and outdoor wood surfaces using only water, removing algae, raised fibres and surface irregularities without damaging the wood.
7. What machines are COBRA pads compatible with?
COBRA pads fit most single-disc machines and scrubber-dryers on the market, making them easy to implement in existing floor-care workflows.
